We are happy to announce that The Hironaka school has just started an extended 30 day trial on the ABC Reading Eggs online program.
30 of the 68 children currently studying English/computing will participate in the trial. If the feedback is very positive, we will be looking at ways to get the children subscriptions for the year. A year long subscription for each child is $20, which is not a lot but adds up when there are 68 of them. We feel that if they are benefiting greatly, it could be worth the investment. The trial period should be a good indicator for how children from non-English speaking backgrounds navigate and utilise the program.
About an hour after starting on the trial, I received a message from the children’s teacher saying that the kids already love it! It seems they are off to a great start!
