GIVING IN HONOUR OF PHILIP LEAROYD
Let’s Build a School supporter, Philip Learoyd, passed away on 1 March 2016, aged 58. He and his wife Helen, and children Ruby and Ed, sponsor a child as part of our Girls Be Ambitious program. Phil and his family had hoped to visit Cambodia together one day. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by so many friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, Phil wanted donations to go to Let’s Build a School to support the work we are doing with the children. In his living and in his passing, Phil has always been such a generous and thoughtful man. We are honoured that he thought of such a meaningful way to share with others in need, even at a time of such sadness and loss for himself and his loved ones.
